Day 1 ..... Travel to Cape Cod with a relaxing ride through the New England countryside, arrive in Hyannis MA for 4 nights lodging.  Dinner included this evening.

Day 2 ..... Following breakfast this morning at the hotel, depart with our step-on guide for a Hyannis Highlight tour.  The tour includes the Kennedy Memorial, Hyannis Waterfront District, St Xavier's Church and the colorful history of this seaside village.  Travel on to Sandwich and visit Cape Cod's oldest village, Sandwich, known for its early glass production.  you will see the Cape's first homestead the Hoxie House, Sandwich Grist Mill and historic Daniel Webster Inn.  Join in the fun and celebrate at the Bourne Scallop Festival - on scenic Cape Cod Canal.  Enjoy non-stop entertainment including great band music, dance ensembles, singing performances and a professional Arts & Crafts exhibit.  Ocean fresh Scallop lunch included.  This afternoon, enoy the Hyannis Harbor Cruise aboard a replica of a Maine Coastal Steamer.  See pristine shorelines, Hyannis Yacht Club, scenic harbor islands and the best available view of the Kennedy Compund.  Hear the history and stories of the town's most famous residents. Dinner and shopping on your own.

Day 3 ..... Breakfast included this morning at the hotel.  Our step-on guide will take us on the Cape Coast where maritime treasures abound!! Hear about the customs, lore and lives of the nautical neighborhoods as you meander through the villages of the Cape, steeped in maritime history.  Follow the trail winding through Cape Cod as you see and hear about the outer Cape and Provincetown's historic lighthouses including Nausett Light.  Stop at the famous Red Barn Gift Shop.  This afternoon enjoy a 3 hour Whale Watch excursion. Dinner included this evening with entertainment. 

Day 4.  After breakfast this morning at the hotel, cruise to the unique Atlantic Isle of Nantucket.  Depart from scenic Hyannis Harbor.  This picturesque island is well-known for famous sea captains homes and steeped in Whaling History.  The guide will conduct a walking tour through the quaint cobble-stone streets.  There are many individual choices including a narrated island tour, bike rentals, the Whaling Museum or visit the many galleries, boutiques, antique stores and shops all within walking distance of the ferry.  Lobster dinner included this evening.

Day 5 ..... Following breakfast this morning, we depart for home.  As our tour comes to an end, our country's history lingers in our thoughts.
