Day 1 .....  Travel today to Ogunquit, Maine for a summer getaway. Upon arrival, a Maine Tour 'Lobsterette' will meet you at the hotel with your souvenir lobster hats as you check-in for 3 nights lodging at the Meadomere Resort.  A welcome reception will be provided.  Dinner included at a nearby restaurant.

Day 2 ..... Following breakfast this morning, travel to Bath, Maine.  Take a guided overview tour of Maine Maritime Museum, celebrating Maine's shipbuilding industry.  There is also a historic ship-builders home on the riverfront here to explore.  Learn about the Virginia Project, a replica of Maine's first ship built before the Pilgrims landed, that is being re-created here.  Sail past the historic Bath Iron Works Shipyard, which has been building vessels on the waterfront since 1884.  Next, travel to Boothbay Harbor - the sailing capital of Maine - featuring brick sidewalks lined with unique shops of handcrafted goods, maritime gifts, antiques and art galleries.  You will have free time along the waterfront for lunch on your own.  This afternoon, tour the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay. 
Lobster dinner is included tonight.

Day 3 ..... Breakfast at the hotel, then depart with your step-on guide for a narrated tour of Kennebunkport.  Drive past the sandy beaches and rocky coastline, past the George Bush estate at Walker's Point and hear the history of these shipbuilding towns.  Travel to the largest city-by-the-sea where you'll have lunch on your own in the restored Old Port waterfront district.  This afternoon, tour Portland with a step-on guide and views of sea captains houses and elegant Victoria Mansions as you drive through historic neighborhoods overlooking the islands of Casco Bay.  Stop at the Portland Head Light.  Then there will be a private tour of Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse that is not normally open to the public.   Return to the hotel to freshen up.  Stop at Maine's southernmost lighthouse in Cape Neddick at Nubble Lighthouse for a photo and take in the view.  Don your souvenir Maine lobster hat this evening at an authentic downeast lobster bake dinner, included.  You will feast on your choice of Maine boiled lobster or barbequed chicken, plus chowder, mussels and corn on the cob.

Day 4 ..... Depart following breakfast, and board a special lobster tour boat to learn how the Maine Lobstermen make their living.  Next, travel to the Pioneer Valley where you will have lunch on your own at the Old Sturbridge Village.  Spend some time at the Village this afternoon, where you will journey through time to a rural New England town of the 1830's.  Next, you are in for a treat at the historic Salem Cross Inn built in 1705.  Experience their Yankee hospitality amid fieldstone fireplaces, chestnut ceiling beams and extensive American antique furnishings.  You will be treated to an hearth-cooked dinner with a featured colonial dessert.  Check-in to the hotel for overnight lodging in Chicopee, MA.

Day 5 ..... Following breakfast at the hotel, depart for home with your Maine sea coast memories.
