April 26 - 29, 2018

DAY 1 ..... Travel to Virginia, with meal and rest stops enroute. Our first stop will be in Richmond for the historical "Colonials, Cannonballs & Confederates" tour with a step-on guide.  This tour will take you back to 1607 to "Meet" famous people and "Witness" events that created this magnificent city on the James River.   A private tour of the Capitol Building will be included  Lunch on your own before departing for Virginia Beach.  Following hotel check-in for 3 night's lodging,  depart for dinner - included- at Captain George's Seafood Buffet.  

DAY 2 ..... Breakfast at the hotel before departing for a driving tour of Virginia Beach.  Visit the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse, followed by time exploring the Norfolk Botancial Gardens.  Lunch and shopping on your own at the Virginia Beach Town Center.   This afternoon visit the Military Aviation Museum, home to one of the largest private collections of World War II and Korean War era fighters, bombers, trainers, and seaplanes in the World.  Return to the hotel before departing for dinner included tonight at Rockafeller's Restaurant.

DAY 3 ..... Following breakfast, depart, with a step-on guide, to downtown for a visit to Nauticus, a nautical museum, where you will learn about the power of the sea, experience ship handling, and pet a shark.  We then enjoy a self-guided tour of the Battleship Wisconsin, the largest battleship that served in WWII, the Korean War and the Persian Gulf War.  Our next stop, see the Parade of Nations, featuring marching bands, Tattoo performers, dazzling floats and decorated NATO.  This afternoon, have lunch and free time to explore NATO Fest - a cultural experience of food, drink and entertainment, with 28 countries showcasing their unique cultures in a festival-style format.  Visit MacArthur Memorial for a glimpse into the nation's history. See the beautiful outdoor sculpture gallery and state of the art glass studio at the Chrysler Museum of Art.  Tonight have a fun-filled night at the Virginia International Tattoo.  See the largest pageantry and patriotism, spirit and spectacle, talent and teamwork.  Buffet dinner included tonight.

DAY 4 .... Following breakfast and hotel check-out, depart for a Champagne brunch with a lice jazz quartet aboard the Spirit of Norfolk.  We then depart for home with a meal stop and rest stops enroute.
